 ng this event.\n\n\nEng Lim Goh, PhD.\nSenior Vice President & Chief T
 echnology Officer\nDr. Eng Lim Goh joined SGI in 1989, becoming a chie
 f engineer in 1998 and chief technology officer in 2001. He oversees P
 roject Ultraviolet; with the goal to develop the next generation compu
 ter architecture for the new many-core era. Correspondingly, he also w
 orks on solutions to massively parallel rendering. Between these two e
 fforts, he has been granted four U.S. patents.\nIn 2005, the IDG publi
 cation, InfoWorld, named Dr. Goh one of World's 25 most influential CT
 Os. That same year, he was also included in the HPCwire list of \"15 P
 eople to Watch.\" In 2007, he was named \"Champions 2.0\" of the indus
 try by BioIT World magazine, and received the HPC Community Recognitio
 n Award from HPCwire. Before joining SGI, Dr. Goh worked for Intergrap
 h Systems, Schlumberger Wireline and Shell Research. A Shell Cambridge
  University Scholar, he completed his Ph.D. research and dissertation 
 on parallel architectures and computer graphics. He also holds a first
 -class honors degree in mechanical engineering from Birmingham Univers
