Things that are easy to overlook, but should be kept in mind when managing a Data Centre:

How much potential revenue is left in the Data Centre?

Where will the next failure come from and why?

How will the batteries actually run? Will they last until the generator kicks in?

What repairs, upgrades and/or new equipment are really needed? Which are needed now?

How much outside capital funding is available to help with the upgrade(s)?

To increase efficiency and eliminate downtime, manager should keep these questions in mind and explore the possibility of a data centre assessment.
