Hello everyone.

I took and passed the BICSI 002 when it was offered from a third party. I'm an experienced data center consultant with a BS and MS from two well respected Universities in Texas. I'm looking to freshen my data center knowledge and also frankly to earn some current "CDCP" type of credentialing - I suspect it will help with marketing.

I'm strongly considering the CNET CDCDP program - because I essentially already took and passed the first component (long story short, there were some partnering issues with the entities involved).

Before I spend the time and money though I'd like to solicit some opinions. Other than Marist, is there a school offering an accredited version of this? I'm willing to pay for a more recognized program as long as they're in it for the long haul and it is accredited. Speaking of that, what would the acreditation organizations be? Are there any (besides the for profit orgs)? I'd prefer to avoid privately held/for profit companies if possible (leaving names out) - too much vested interest. I'd like to pick a true learning oriented program.

Sorry to ramble but I hope you get my drift. Where to spend the time and money and make it COUNT, for the long haul :)

Thank you,
Patrick
