I just returned from a tour of commercial real estate properties and business parks in Shanghai, Sujhou, Wuxi, Guangjhou & Qingdao, China. What struck me as missing entirely was wholesale data center operations. Granted the central government controls the essential ingredients of power and connectivity but given that capitalism is running rampant there, I sense a potential opportunity.
