- Over the past six years I've been working as a marketing and communications professional in the Greenville, SC area. Starting as a professional communications instructor at Clemson University, I went on to be a marketing writer for Fluor Corporation and now I am directing the marketing of a data center services provider with offices in both Greenville and Columbia, SC.
As the Director of Marketing, I am responsible for establishing and implementing Immedion's annual marketing strategy and budget for our two data center locations. I lead branding and marketing efforts through various mediums from print and web to events and seminars. Working directly with our sales team, I create internal and external communication materials from customer case studies to newsletters. I also lead public relations efforts with press releases, networking socials and the planning of company events, seminars and conferences.
Outside of work, I am currently participating in the Greenville Chamber's annual leadership program class of 37. I am also on the board of directors of the Red Shoe Society for the Ronald McDonald Charities of the Carolina's and I serve as the marketing support for the UWIT (Upstate Women in Technology) organization.
