- Nick is a chartered mechanical engineer and an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer with 25 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical services design. He has extensive experience of data centres design and implementation and his innovative approach to data centre design has resulted in numerous best in class and a number of award winning data centres. Nick’s project and design management expertise of large, complex fast-track developments has resulted in the successful delivery of many UK and international projects.
Nick has been at the forefront of energy efficient and resilient data centre design for the past 20 years. He designed the UK's first hotel to be cooled by seawater and recently completed the design, monitoring and commissioning of a new data centre for Cap Gemini, using a revolutionary modular design solution which provides free cooling for more than 99% of the year.
