I am an ICT professional with over 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations, network administration, data centre operations, ICT service management and information security.

I have worked with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), where I gained practical experience in Network Operations Centre (NOC) monitoring, infrastructure availability, incident management, network troubleshooting, data centre monitoring, cybersecurity operations and IT service delivery.

My technical expertise includes network monitoring using Nagios, Zabbix and Grafana; security monitoring using IBM QRadar and FortiSOAR; firewall administration, vulnerability management, access control, Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, ITSM and ICT infrastructure support. I also have experience supporting LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, IP telephony, virtualisation and data centre facilities.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and have completed the coursework for a Master of Science in Information Security and Audit, with my research thesis focusing on a Secure and Energy-Efficient Model for Wireless Sensor Networks.

My professional qualifications include ITIL Foundation and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Associate and Professional certifications, alongside training in information security, data privacy and protection.

My career ambition is to contribute to secure, resilient and sustainable ICT infrastructure while advancing my expertise in cybersecurity, network engineering, cloud computing, data centre management and emerging technologies. I am particularly interested in international professional collaboration, knowledge sharing, research, continuous professional development and contributing to the global ICT community.
