Highly accomplished, innovative, and profit-driven Data Center Project Manager with 17+ years of expertise in data center design, engineering and IT build-outs. As Data Center Project Manager, I have been involved in the design, build, management, and implementation and commissioning of many data centers, networks, and complex IT solutions for large organizations. Solid technical knowledge of infrastructure technologies (Windows, Unix, VoIP, WAN, LAN, Security, Networking). Experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, Virtual Iron, etc), HP, Dell, wintelx86, mainframes and or IBM standalone and blade servers, NAS or SAN storage hardware (EMC, Netapp, IBM, HP, etc). Networking switch gear (Cisco, HP, Brocade, Foundry, etc), firewalls (Cisco, Barracuda, SonicWall, etc), routers, load balancers with proficiency in use of MS Project, Visio, MS Office, CoolSim, Tile Flow, iLights and open source tools. I have project managed entire projects from physical data center layouts, design teams in computational fluid dynamic modeling, design review processes in designing tier 1 to tier 4 data center specializing in extreme high density. My knowledge and experience enables me to work closely with Architecture and MEP firms alongside the owners and or developers in all aspects of the design from raised floor, air handling, access controls, fire suppression, switch gear, UPS systems, ATS, monitoring systems, structured cabling, MPOES, MDFs and IDFs. This allows me to develop strong methodologies while providing leadership skills that motivate members to grow and excel. This along with training and communication is the basis for developing a quality staff and a productive work environment.
