AFCOM's last survey showed that data center management professionals are definitely aware of the risks of cyber attacks, and more importantly cyber terrorism. In fact, the majority of respondents said that they believe this is an important issue. The interesting part of this equation is that most of those that said it was important had not started to put inot place policies and procedures, or invest in technologies to help prevent these types of attacks.

As CEO of AFCOM, I want to provide our members and the data center industry with the educational information they need to make sure they are prepared for the worst-case scenario - even if it means spending money during a down economy.

My question is for those of you on this network that are truly data center managers: What, if any, actions have you taken to protect your company's most vital asset - its' data - from cyber criminals?
