Event Description

Description: This MARC³ (www.marc3.info) event is sponsored by Dell Computer and co-hosted by Oakton Community College and the Workforce Board of Northern Cook County will announce the formation of a Center of Excellence in Manufacturing at Oakton. The Center will be part of a High Performance Computing Innovation Cluster that seeks to deliver HPC capability to SMB as well as governmental and nonprofit organizations using a cloud platform. The Cluster will also provide training to students in the use of HPC and assist out of work IT professionals to prepare to enter this emerging market. The event’s keynote speaker will be Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen. Representatives from Dell and Force 10 networking will also present.
