This course has been developed due to the strong demand of data centre professionals who until now did not have a clear understanding of how to analyse the risk for their data centre and IT environment.
In today’s environment, organizations that have built hi-availability data centres (Tier-3 / Tier-4) have often done so based on ‘the gut feeling’ whereas instead a compelling risk analysis would have properly informed them on the cost/benefit analysis to justify the investment.
In today’s market where budgets are tight and where risks for downtime are increasingly a real threat to the business it is of utmost importance to have a proper risk profile in place which allows for adequate investments (without overspending) to be made to mitigate the risks to acceptable levels to the business.
The CDRP course is giving students a methodology for preparing a proper risk profile and mitigation plan which can be presented to the senior management in order to make appropriate business investments.
