Critical Site Technician Training Needed

The Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) is developing a Critical Facilities Council with intentions to develop training and certification programs directed toward critical facilities and data center infrastructure technicians. We feel there are sufficient programs with DCJ, AFCOM, IFMA, Uptime and others that do well at educating and equipping designers and site managers but those programs may be too material oriented for the technician level. We want to develop basic training for staff who have the daily responsibility for the first line maintenance and equipment operation of the site infrastructure - power, cooling, etc. We would welcome any comments, recommendations, and particularly any suggested requirements or sample questionnaires that such training should encompass. Please add herein or contact me if you wish to dicuss and have any suggestions.
