What's New on the Data Center Professionals Network

What's New on the Network

Three New Features

1. Support for Metaweblog API. Now you can get multiple exposure to your blogs by posting to multiple places! So if you write data center blogs or press releases you should be able to write your blog post once and be able to post it to multiple sites such as your wordpress blog and our network with a few simple clicks and get more exposure for minimal effort. Very useful eh! Read more about this here.

2. Procurement Listings Section. We have introduced a procurement (RFI/RFQ/RFP/RFT) section. Most public sector institutions post via their respective country tender notifications databases, but where do private data center companies go to post tender notifications? So we thought we'd introduce a place for members to post free Rfx notices, but please let us know if you think this is going to be useful or not.

3. Data Center Chat. This feature has been re-introduced. Its a great way to interact with others in real-time. One great aspect of this chat room is that you can 'pop it out' into a separate window, so you can leave it in the corner of you screen and watch and interact with others on the network. One way this could be used is to schedule chats to follow up after a webinar etc. The chat feature can be found here.
