Do you by any chance know where I can find some funny data center cartoons. I would like them to be centered around selling data center services like hosting, colocation, etc. but looking for something funny, simple, and data center industry specific.

Thanks for the help.

Adam, you get the prize for the most bizarre post yet :-)
Adam, this one I made is laughable, but maybe for the wrong reasons. =) It was used last year as part of an internal, web-based presentation for a physically scalable, green DC start-up in Oregon. The concept was to sell some of the primary benefits of out-sourced, local data center services. Playing with cartoons can help create funny story boards for more elaborate and entertaining advertising skits. I can think of a few based on this.. think nuclear power-plant meltdown scenario, where the DC is at the core instead etc. Anyway, enjoy!

This could be a funny skit:

view of DC agent at desk, server room door is visible nearby, a loud buzz/fan sound squeaks out of the closed door (that acts as sound barrier)
user1: (arrives from within server room which emphasizes disruptive sound when door is open, says to DC agent, louder voice than sound) Hey, you're servers are hot!
DC agent: (loud voice) Yeah, really cool. Thanks!
user 1: No, I mean, they're smoking!
DC agent: yeah, thanks for the Kudos, truly.
user 1: (puzzled.. frustrated.. leaves)
user 2: (arrives) Hey, you're servers are on fire!
DC agent: Right on, they're flaming! (high 5's to user 2)
user 2: (leaves, looking for someone else or fire alarm)
(alarm sounds, sprinkler system washes out space, steam comes from server room)
DC agent: (stands up, grabs the emergency procedures manual nearby)
power to the area shuts down, sound stops and lights go out, can still hear the sprinklers and water slushing or squish squish of wet shoes / agent walking/trotting off

Got a data center syndrome or headache? (add lead-in promotional message)
Benjamin,

Thanks so much for sharing and the info. how is business for you? It is busy with us, but is slowing in general. we are going through an expansion so it like the chicken/egg for us. need both quickly.

Adam
Yes, adversity is driving change, and the strategically positioned are advancing. It's nice to see projects like these gaining visibility without the need for marketing. We have fewer leads, but these seem more genuine and likely to bear fruit.
