Hi all,
We have been in several hundred data centers over the last few years and have found that different people own power capacity depending on the size and make up of the company. It appears that Data Center Managers most frequently are responsible for power, although there is not always a person with this title.
Who owns power in your data center? Do you have a Data Center Manager, or is it a Facilities Manager, or maybe even an IT responsibility? As I mentioned, we have been in enough data centers to know that this is not a uniform responsability.
Thanks,
Jason Bailey
